Ashley is a community-focused Licensed Clinical Social Worker driven to understand and improve the systems in which Hawaiʻi’s most marginalized and underserved populations receive care. Originally from the Washington, DC area, she has been humbled to call the east coast of Oʻahu home for almost 15 years.
After providing direct care and clinical supervision in Hawaiʻi for over a decade, Ashley now uses these experiences to inform her consulting work with agencies statewide. She draws on her clinical background, as well as her own lived experiences, to bring authentic understanding to her work—listening deeply, partnering with communities, and seeking to identify or create responses that are sustainable, approachable, culturally aligned, and trauma-informed. Her collaborative approach has proven effective across diverse healthcare settings, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Ashley specializes in program development and evaluation, group facilitation, grant writing and management, and strategic planning. Her passion remains supporting agencies serving those encountering serious mental illness, houselessness, substance use, trauma, and chronic medical conditions.
She holds a Master in Social Work from Smith College SSW in Northampton, MA.
